Theratrak Founder Award Win: Innovation & Entrepreneurship Alumni Award from Western Sydney University 2022

A huge congrats to our humble and dedicated founder, Laura Simmons!

It's just been announced that Laura WON the Western Sydney University 2022 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Alumni Award!

This award recognises alumni who have demonstrated excellence in the fields of research, innovation, creative thinking and technology.

The same Chancellor who handed Laura her graduation certificate for OT over a decade ago, also handed Laura this innovation award during his last year in tenure!

Since 2018, Laura has been working on the duel mission of:
+ supporting more participants in therapy to reach their goals, and
+ supporting therapists to streamline their workflows

After studying and working in the private sector, Laura knew she had to do more to support therapists.

After testing, launching, and developing over the past few years, the Theratrak platform now has three portals for users:
+ The clinic portal for clinical directors to manage their team
+ The therapist app where they can prescribe home programs in mere minutes
+ The participant app where participants can review their home program activities and track their progress over time

We're frequently hear stories from therapists about how Theratrak has changed their work-life and sparked even more innovative ideas in their clinics!

A huge thank you to the Western Sydney Uni team for this acknowledgement. Laura had a solid educational foundation studying there and has applied that knowledge to change the lives of many through therapy.

Being a finalist alongside Jodie Imam and Philip Khoury is a testament to Laura's big vision and dedication.
